For starters, rates at the Hotel Pulanska, which is situated five minutes outside Warsaw, have soared 1002% for the Poland vs. Greece match on June 8–9. During that timeframe, an overnight stay in a double room will cost Euro 530 (GBP 427). Elsewhere within the country’s host cities the situation is no different. In Wroclaw, which is hosting the Poland vs. Czech Republic matchup, the 2-star Hotel Polinia has elevated its nightly rate 1086+% to Euro 442. Come June 10, the Explorer Hostel in Old Town Poznan has also implemented a pricey rate hike of 1117%. There, a double room with a shared bathroom is listed at Euro 438.
The biggest price increase award, however, goes to the 4-star Kobza Haus in centre city Gdansk. When Spain takes on Italy there on June 10, the hotel, which regularly charges Euro 79 per night, will skyrocket to an overnight rate of Euro 1148 for a superior double. That equates to a 1353% price increase.
